Boarding Options
CVFH includes several boarding options. Monthly board starts at $245. Some board can be bartered for cleaning and feeding. Horse owners can choose a paddock, turnout or combination of the two. All horses are fed three times daily, orchard, forage and alfalfa hay are available. Daily supplements are fed at no extra charge. A senior horse diet of soaked hay cubes and supplement is also available.
Most boarders keep their horses in a paddock at night and have their horses moved into larger turnouts during the day. Some of the horses are kept in " dirt pastures" fulltime. After the rainy season, horses are turned out two to three times each week into grassy pastures for limited grazing. Box stalls are available for medical emergencies and lay ups. Both paddocks and turnouts are cleaned daily.
